Gosh I'm really late this week, oh what a busy one it's been and not all painting and crafting either, I've had a couple of great day's out but as I'm running so late I'll leave all that for another post.
For this weeks blog hop I've got a some Bathroom Plaques to show you.
I have a couple more Bathroom Plaques in the pipeline, one say's "The Reading Room" and the other is "Throne Room", it has surprised me how many people give 'that' room a quirky or different name, a couple I've done that spring to mind are 'The Wee Room' and 'The Best Seat in the House'
I'm off now to follow the links on Wendy's blog and have a nosey at the other great crafters that take part in
Bye for now

These plaques are so good Jan, love them
ReplyDeleteI love the no appointment necessary comment... it made me smile :)
ReplyDeleteGreat plaque and plenty of titles to go at it seems, better not print the one's my Dad uses..

Love 'em. Like the 'best seat in the house' idea. And as above... can think of some less family friendly ones lol
ReplyDeleteThe loo ones are always popular for me, especially at fairs. The Reading Room is one I've done a lot of - and funnily enough, I add "appointments not always necessary" to that one too - you can see it here. Love your images - mine doesn't have loo roll! (maybe it should?) x
ReplyDeleteThey are great I love the 'appointments not always necessary'. I love the colours you have used too and the daisy ribbon.
ReplyDeleteHi Jan
ReplyDeleteThose bathroom plaques are beautiful. Love the fine detail of the water drops

Those are cute. I love that you all call it "The Loo". I have no idea where that word came from! One of my sons used to have a monster that scared him at night that he called "The Loo". I have no idea where he got that from either! But every time I hear someone talk about the bathroom as the loo, I think of his scary monster! :)
ReplyDeleteI love your ideas! Especially the 'best seat in the house'! Will definately check out your folsky page!

The best seat in the house is a hard one to follow. Love the ideas other people come up with. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteJan i love the plaques :) afraid its just the loo here, no fancy name lol
ReplyDeletethe throne room - ha ha ha, like that!, as much as other phrases for a loo - "the Meditation Temple" and a welsh phrase: ty bach (= little house)
ReplyDeletelove your plaque, gorgeous blues! jokey style, very nice detailed painting!
well done! x x
The wee room. AMAZING! These are so detailed, the sort of thing our new student house needs to stop people walking into my room (next to the bathroom) by accident when visiting!

Hi realy love these are they stamped or hand painted? Good work.
ReplyDeleteThe 'Throne Room' is a favourite in our house - we have even thought about adapting the toilet to look like a throne!
ReplyDeleteGreat plaques and beautiful writing.
