Pretty Pink Princess Palace

A Palace for a Princess, in this case the Princess was a cat whose young owner requested a plaque to attach to a cat house. As usual I discussed what style and colour was wanted. I started with a few scribbles and sketches then emailed a copy over to my lovely customer for approval before I set about painting this pretty pink princess palace. (I've purposely faded out the full name on these photo's)

This plaque was an order through my WowThankYou On-Line Shop I finished it off with a little bit of sparkle, because everyone likes a bit of sparkle don't they? then a couple of coats of outdoor varnish.

All things Pink

I had a lovely request last week, a customer wanted a Plaque for her child's Play House in the garden, as most of you may know, daises and toadstools are favourites of mine so I really enjoyed painting this Plaque.

Most of the Name Plaques I make are 7 x 3.5 inches but this one is a bit bigger and chunkier at 9 x 5 inches, just the thing for the Play House, it has been protected with an exterior varnish so perfect for leaving out in the garden.

Pink Plaques

 I seem to have had a bit of a pink moment......

A little Princess sleeps here is a popular Plaque and I like to do each one slightly different.

This Plaque painted 'portrait' rather than the usual 'landscape' seems to be a hit and I already have a few orders in different colours.

Just as a change from pink I'd like to show you a rose from my garden.

The colour is really beautiful, I haven't messed around on the computer with the colour of this rose, it is truly black when it first buds and over the next few days becomes a lovely velvety red.
