It's
time for another post to be linked to Handmade Harbour. I love Handmade Monday,
not only is it great to look at what everyone else has been up to, it
is also good to know that I'm getting regular visitors to my little
corner of the blogasphere. (Thank you Wendy)
Like a
lot of crafters I have been making Valentines Day gifts this
week. This little trio has been keeping me busy.

A Pair of Lovebirds & a Heart |

I
decided to attach these cute birds and hearts to wooden sticks instead of hanging them
from a ribbon (although I will add a hanging ribbon for anyone who
requests it). They can be displayed on their own in a jar or vase or put in with dried or silk flowers.
They
are in my Facebook album and I've put a set in my Folksy shop, I like these
and I'm planning to them in a rainbow of colours. I will stitch a couple of initials onto the Heart too for anyone who wants them.
Have a great week

Seriously cute! I like the idea of them being on a stick - they'd look great decorating a house plant!
ReplyDeleteWhat i cute idea! They look adorable, the stick idea was inspired :) x
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. There is something very pleasing about the bobble on the end of the stick too.
ReplyDeleteLittle birds are still on trend aren't they ? Look really cute and I'm sure will sell well.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet are they. I also think they would look nice in a plant pot.
ReplyDeleteA really great idea to put them on a stick - they could be added to a bouquet of flowers. Hope you have a good week.
ReplyDeleteNice idea putting them on a stick, sometimes you run out of places to hang things! Christmas Pie's idea seems a good one.
ReplyDeleteAwwww the little love birds are so cute.
ReplyDeleteLovely, cute little lovebirds! I like the idea of putting initials on the heart too.
ReplyDeleteThey're really pretty and would look lovely in with a special posy of flowers on Valentine's Day.
ReplyDeleteLovely idea...so cute and really like the fact that they can be on ribbon or attached to stick...makes them really versatile :) xx
ReplyDeleteI think you might have some florists interested. Your birds and hearts are gorgeous and would look lovely in a bouquet of flowers.

I agree, they would make a pretty keepsake long after the flowers have gone!
