The Moon and Handmade Monday

I can see the moon from where I sit watching evening television and some nights I can't resist popping out into the garden and taking some photo's. I love seeing the shining moon through the trees.

The Moon through the Trees

The clouds had cleared and gave me a lovely view, I don't have a super duper camera, I don't have anything expensive nor do I have fancy lenses, in fact I don't know how to use any of the settings and always have the camera set on auto.
Cameras today are so much easier to use, no more putting rolls of film into a chemist and having to wait a week before getting them back only to find half of them are out of focus or peoples heads have been chopped off. It great that now we can use a digital camera or phone and take hundreds of photo's and can choose what ones we wish to keep.

The Moon

As I'm showing you I thought I'd also show a little teaser of something I've been working on.......

The Moon on Canvas

I can't show you any more just yet, I'll keep that for a future post, in the meantime don't forget to pop over to the lovely Lucy Blossom Link up blog.

Have a great week

  3. I agree that photos are so much easier now a days, you can take loads and just delete what you don't like straight away. But I do miss that excitement of collecting the packet and not being able to wait to open it and take a peek!
    Great moon shot byw!
