Chalkboards

This week I've been busy doing Chalkboards, I usually do quite a few for Christmas but find that the 'generic' ones do better at craft fairs. They can be used for every occasion imaginable.
I've just had an order from an expectant Mum for a blue Chalkboard with 'Days to go' written on it so 'Mum' can countdown until her due date and then use it every year for the new baby's birthday.
Children like to be able to count down the days or 'sleeps' for all kinds of things including their birthdays or holidays.

Ideal for every occasion
A customers choice

I live quite close to a couple of American Air Force Bases and this Chalkboard is for a little boy whose Daddy is away on duty.

These are a selection of my Christmas Chalkboards that are currently for sale in my Folksy Shop or through my Face Book Page
Now it's time to grab myself a coffee and maybe a biscuit or two and head on over to 1st Unique Gifts to see what everyone else has been up to.

Bye for now

  3. I think these are just adorable ideas for young children who find it difficult to relate to anything involving time unless you say it in sleeps, helps with their Maths too!

  5. Very cute! I always do well with countdown chalkboards in the run-up to Christmas. Have you tried making the little chalk bags in a stocking shape? I did that one year with mine x
