For the last couple of weeks I've been replenishing some artwork that has happily sold. Two of the pieces I sold were bought as a pair. These were the last two from my 'Lone Trees' series of paintings.
This pair of paintings were done using ink and water, a small amount of bleach and a few splatterings of salt.
I love using this technique but you have to be very careful with the bleach, I use a very watered down thin bleach and an old toothbrush to do the splattering.
(These frames are the same but look different colours in this picture)
I have a couple more paintings from my 'Sold' list but I'll save them for my next post.
I hope you can all pop over to Wendy's Blog and check out what the other crafters are up to.
Take care and stay safe

They're lovely - it reminds me a bit of the silk painting technique with rock salt. Very effective.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures - I love the ethereal quality about them. Not surprised at all that they were sold as a pair - they look lovely together.
