These flowers are miniature paintings generally called ACEO's, which is an acronym for Art Cards, Editions & Originals, sometimes known as ATC's Art Trading Cards. They are small works of art measuring 21/2 x 31/2 inches. They are great fun to do.
With the weather improving, it is also the time for children to play lots more in the garden. I was commissioned, via my Wow Thank You shop, to make this hand painted plaque for a children's garden shed. I love the jungle theme.

ReplyDeleteThese would be so cute in little white frames. I love them. Do people trade these anymore? I just read about a pen pal painting exchange program and I think ACEOs would be perfect for that.
ReplyDeleteThank you, funny enough I have some aceo's in frames, some white :) I think people still trade these, there are a few blogs etc about that do swaps etc. I have some framed as examples in my Etsy Shop, it's probably a good idea to do more. Thank you
