St Patricks Day, Leprechauns and a Little Fairy Door

It's St Patrick's Day on Monday 17th March, I was asked to make a special Fairy Door with Leprechauns in mind for a little girl whose birthday falls on the same day.

St Patrick's Leprechaun Door

Painted in Greens, Orange and a bit of White, the colours of the Irish Flag.

For standing a Fairy Door on a Shelf

It can be placed against a wall or can be freestanding.

A Fairy Door with Glitter & Sparkle

A Fairy Door is never complete without a sprinkle of Glitter.

Wishing you all a Happy St Patrick's Day

  1. Aww this is sooooo cute! The sprinkle of magical glitter is the perfect finishing touch to your beautiful design. I like that you can stand your doors on a shelf too, that's a great idea :) x

  3. So lovely, magical glitter is such a lovely thing to add to the fairy door and I am sure even Leprechauns like glitter. Hope you have a good week.

  8. This little door is lovely. I'm sure it will be well loved. My fairy doors are in full use now by my two grandsons. I think they are competing on who can loose the most teeth first! hugs Mrs A.

  16. Post script to my comment above. My eldest Grandson was playing football with his Mum who kicked the ball to him but it hit him full in the mouth and knocked his wobbly top tooth out. Compensation money had to be handed out along with the regular tooth fairy money. He then came home the next day from school with his next tooth missing which hadn't been loose. He had played football with a friend at lunch time and missed catching the ball which hit him in the face instead. He swallowed the said tooth.!The family is now divided as to whether the tooth fairy has to pay out for missing teeth!!!
    Hugs Mrs A.
